Hi all
Can anyone recommend any particular lighting kit etc. to make the bike road legal.
Also, any recommendations for a suitable speedo?
Cheers
Chris
I'm trying to import my beamish into France. I know the Vin number but I dont know how and where it was recorded on the bike. It's not on the headstock as us usually the case. The French are real sticklers for paperwork and they WILL physically check it.
Can someone enlighten me as to where it is.
I'm thinking that it could have been on a plate elsewhere on the frame. If this is the case could someone please send me a few photos of their frame and where it should be. The physical plate and how it is attached. This isn't a scam so I'm not after the frame number of your bike. Just erase it from the pic somehow.
I'd be very grateful to anybody who can let me know. And I will of course buy you a beer or two when you come out to visit and take a ride in the forests with me. 👍😀

Hi all, The clutch pull on my '75 RL250 is very stiff. New clutch cable, cleaned everything on the stator side. Cleaned and measured all friction and metal plates. All were within tolerances. New push rod to replace 2-piece rod. Still very stiff pull. Perhaps my 73 yr. old hands don't have the strength any more but I would like to better the situation.
On an old website, Matrix Motor Sports, which is no longer active, they suggested the one piece pushrod, and replacing 3 of the 6 clutch springs with softer ones. This sounds reasonable, or even replacing all 6 with something a bit lighter. How or where would I go for help and information on this problem? Any thoughts?
