BLACK ENGINE SPROCKET
COVERS NOW AVAILABLE
I can now supply reproduction sprocket
guards for the black engine Beamish.
As you know, at least half the bikes you see have the guard broken or
missing so I have commissioned a foundry to reproduce some for me. Once cast, they have to be drilled,
linished and painted. The cost for
the finished item is going to be £75 each and I require the money up front
before I commit to having any produced.
You can send me a cheque made out to ‘R
Evans’ and sent to:
44
Upper Lewes Road
Brighton
East Sussex
BN2 3FH
Or by Paypal to jim.xtc@ntlworld.com.
Production lead time is about 4 weeks. I need you payments as soon as possible
in order to have the right quantity cast.
This is a one time chance, I won’t be having more made so get one while
they are available.
THIS YEAR'S BEAMISH TRIAL - CANCELLED
With just 3 weeks
to go to the proposed date for the event I had just 4 entries forthe trial and
one for training. The deadline was the 5th of May and it is not the
16th. As it was costing around £400 to stage the event I have
decided that it is not viable to run a trial for 4
people.
I am very sorry for
those who had entered and I will be refunding your money
shortly.
The last ever Beamish
Trial was 2008.....
TELFORD SHOW 24/25 JANUARY
2009
Thanks to everyone who came to see us at the Telford show, it was a great
event and there was a lot of interest in the Beamish from former and current
owners alike. Particular thanks go to Danny Broughton, Steve Driscoll,
Derrick Beck and John Robertson, without whom the show would not have go on!

BEAMISH TRIAL - 21st MARCH
2008!
Next year may be the very last ever Beamish trial depending on
entires. There were 5 Beamish that turned up (including me) this year - a
poor showing for an annaual event. Maybe I got it wrong and no-one is
interested in trialing their pride and joy, or maybe it's the wrong date or the
wrong venue? Why don't you tell me why you weren't interested in coming
this year - I wasn't interested because....
Below are the winners from last year.
